Seismic behavior of a school under Cephalonia 2014 EQs

EQUIDAS presenting in a seminar in Athens. 


In 2014, Equidas was assigned by the Greek School Building Authority the project of the structural assessment and strengthening of two school buildings in Argostoli, Cephalonia. The structures suffered damages after a sequence of severe earthquakes that took place in January and February of that year.  
A presentation of our preliminary findings regarding the seismic behavior of one of the two structures was made in a seminar that took place in Athens today. A conference paper is on its way !
